We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Sales Estimator with experience in electronic security, building automation, or fire safety integration. I

Based in Sydney, in this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our sales team by preparing accurate and competitive estimates and assisting with tender take-offs for complex integrated systems projects.

You will collaborate with account executives, project managers, and technical teams to ensure estimates align with project scopes, timelines, and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for integrated electronic systems projects.

Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and bid documents to develop accurate take-offs.

Work closely with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical details.

Assist with tender submissions, ensuring compliance with bid requirements and deadlines.

Collaborate with the sales team to ensure estimates meet strategic and financial targets.

Maintain up-to-date documentation and pricing databases.

Support pre-sales efforts and customer engagement by providing technical input during the sales cycle.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience as a sales estimator, preferably within electronic security, building automation, or fire safety industries.

Strong technical understanding of integrated building systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for detailed estimate building.

Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/CRM systems.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of low-voltage systems integration.

Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare or financial security projects.

Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
