As part of our administration team, you'll play a vital role in keeping the store organised, current, and running smoothly behind the scenes. Your contribution will help ensure the team out front can continue delivering the high level of service our customers know and love.
An opportunity awaits for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced Office Administrator to join our successful and expanding retail business in the Southern suburbs of Adelaide. You will be part of a small administration team and report directly to our managing director.
This position will be 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday.) From August 2025 until April 2026 this will include 30-35 hours (covering another staff members maternity leave.) After April the hours will continue at 20-25hours per week.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
· Maintaining upkeep of in-store POS (Point of Sale).
· Daily price changes & ticketing on all platforms including POS, instore and online.
· Maintaining and updating the website where necessary.
· Assisting managers with administration duties.
· General office housekeeping including ordering office supplies.
· General office administration and support (e-mails, filing and assisting with other duties as requested).
· Managing staff uniform order and maintaining uniform stock levels.
· Assisting the Admin and Management team with advertising campaigns
· Data entry of invoices on a casual basis via Xero.
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:
· Experience in similar office role
· A passion for small SA businesses
· Retail Experience (highly regarded)
· Ability to easily engage with customers over the telephone and email
· Ability to deal with difficult clients and situations when they arise
· Experience with EMC, Xero, MYOB and Deputy will be highly regarded
but not essential
· Intermediate level of ability in Microsoft Office suite
· Possess accurate data entry skills and have attention to detail
· Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Enjoy and take pride in your work
· Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to multitask
· Sharp time management skills
· Strong ethics, trustworthy & reliable with an ability to manage confidential data.
· Flexibility with start/finishing times as shift times start early from 8am
