Working 16 hours a week from the Port Lincoln Branch office, this opportunity has the ideal working hours (9.00 am to 3.00pm, Monday - Wednesday) undertaking customer service and general administrative duties within the development section of Council.
The role is (jointly) responsible for the following key areas:
· Quality and comprehensive assistance is provided to customers in relation to all activities of Council;
· Customers are provided with assistance in navigating and undertaking development assessments through the SA Planning portal.
· Liaison between staff and customers with planning consultants is undertaken with accuracy and efficiency;
· Department staff are provided with support and administrative assistance.
Previous administration experience working with Microsoft Office will be viewed favourably, however training is provided along with outstanding employment conditions, such as a corporate health program, skin cancer screenings, uniforms, and paid leave between Christmas and New Year, all in addition to great hourly rates of pay.
Salary and conditions of employment will be at Level 3 in accordance with the Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, currently ranging from $38.11 p/h to $40.47 p/h.
As this is a job-share position, the ability to provide coverage over the full week on occasion will be viewed favourably (Flexibility in the daily hours required to provide this coverage may be negotiable).
