Position
Due to healthy period of company growth, this exciting opportunity has been established within one of their busiest periods yet. The position of Office Administrator has opened and entails a major focus in managing the internal operations of the Brisbane branch.
The Office Administrator plays a key role in managing the day-to-day administrative functions of the organisation, including overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes. This position requires excellent organisational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills to liaise with staff, vendors, and clients. The ideal candidate will help ensure the office operates smoothly and that financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to management and team members.
- Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, respond to emails, and welcome visitors.
- Manage office supplies and equipment procurement and maintenance.
- Organise and maintain both digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist with preparing documents, data entry, and other clerical tasks.
- Offer support to other departments such as sales or operations as needed.
- Enter invoices into the accounting system and secure necessary approvals.
- Process payments to suppliers according to company payment schedules.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration and basic financial processes.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs and accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
