Duties and Responsibilities

• Phone calls, emails, and SMS to clients that are currently in arrears
• Follow them up for the payment, set up a date when can they make a payment, and get a copy of the receipt or remittance.
• Remind the clients of the risk if the loan stays in arrears
• Keep the email addresses and the phone numbers of the clients updated in our database
• Responsible for responding to clients' requests for enrollment and/or updating of their direct debit account
• Responsible for responding to client's requests for SOA, pay-out letter, account status, loan balance, and payment history
• Answering inbound calls
• Making outbound calls to Current Maclean financial arrears customers on every lender report
• Advising on repayment plans to suit the level of debt and customer circumstances.
• Escalating calls to managers when required
• Adhering to legislative guidelines and the Privacy Act
• Entering data and maintaining accurate records
• Improve operational processes
• Work on key performance indicators
• Chasing payment receipts and providing these to the Banks
• Ensuring when a date is committed to catch the arrears up to date we are in contact the day prior and the day of to ensure funds will clear
• Pro-actively working with customers and Managers to ensure Maclean Arrears is maintained at a suitable level in line with the industry standards at a minimum
• Track arrears trends with customers to avoid arrears growing each month
