MAYDAY is excited to be recruiting for a Customer Service & Collections Officer to join a high-growth, award-winning fintech business based in the heart of Sydney.

This is a phone-based customer support role focused on the early stages of collections. You’ll be working with customers experiencing financial hardship, offering tailored repayment solutions, providing support with empathy, and guiding them through available options.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Handling inbound and outbound calls with customers facing early-stage hardship
• Providing compassionate guidance and offering tailored repayment solutions
• Building rapport and navigating tough conversations with professionalism and care
• Keeping accurate records in Salesforce (full training provided)
• Working with your team to ensure customers receive a seamless experience
• Meeting internal compliance standards and contributing to team goals

About You:
• Confident communicator with strong emotional intelligence and phone manner
• Background in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality or collections is highly valued
• Resilient, empathetic, and calm under pressure
• Comfortable in a goal-driven, fast-paced environment
