Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Collections Officer to join our expanding team and support our ongoing success.

As a ADIS Automatic Doors Collections Officer, you will use various skip tracing tools to service overdue accounts. Terms are to be negotiated by understanding each individual customer’s circumstances, leveraging your strong relationship building skills.

You are the representative liaising with our valued customers, chasing new and outstanding invoices, providing excellent customer service over the phone (inbound and outbound) and via email. You will have a solid understanding of all principles governing current collection activity and policies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Engage with customers in a professional and empathetic manner, providing top-notch customer service while assisting them in reducing outstanding debt.

Manage inbound & outbound customer calls

Build and establish relationships with customers with connection and trust

Investigate, identify and establish customers financial situation

Negotiate, implement and monitor tailored payment solutions

Record interaction file notes ensuring meticulous record keeping

Adhere to compliance frameworks

Work 3-4 days a week

Key Attributes & Experience:

At least 5 years experience in collections officer role

Strong customer service skills, with experience assisting and responding to customers over the phone or face-to-face

Experience in a collections environment, particularly supporting customers in financial difficulty

Skip tracing experience and knowledge of skip tracing tools are desired

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and navigate challenging conversations

A solutions-focused approach and the ability to make informed decisions to resolve a customer’s financial situation

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet expectations
