MARS Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded company based in Perth. This company offers a dynamic and professional working environment with long-term growth potential.

They are now seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer FTE 0.8 to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations across a range of projects.

The Role

This position is suited to a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working within a busy, project-driven environment. You will be responsible for a broad range of accounts payable duties and liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Duties Include:

• Processing supplier invoices, including coding and approvals
• Managing accounts inbox and responding to queries
• Entering and reconciling credit card and trade account transactions
• Preparing supplier payment runs and reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end and general finance tasks as required

About You

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in a similar finance or accounts role, a high level of accuracy, and strong communication skills. You'll be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively to meet key deadlines.

• Previous accounts payable or finance administration experience
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident using Excel and Outlook (ERP system experience is a bonus)
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
