Senior Logistics Analyst | Contract or Temp-to-Perm | Sydney CBD

I am currently working with a high-performing logistics and operations team that is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to partner with key stakeholders across finance and operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for data, logistics, and financial insight who wants to make a measurable impact across a complex, fast-paced business.

The Role
This position is pivotal to driving operational and financial performance across logistics and supply chain functions. Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, you will provide critical analysis, reporting, and forecasting insights that influence business strategy and day-to-day decisions.
What You Will Be Doing

• Own budgeting and forecasting processes for the logistics division
• Conduct month-end reporting and P&L analysis
• Deliver deep-dive logistics data analysis to identify cost efficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Track freight spend, validate billing accuracy, and highlight savings opportunities
• Partner with supply chain, logistics and customer experience stakeholders to drive performance
• Develop sustainable, scalable reporting tools and dashboards
• Lead continuous improvement projects that drive financial and operational outcomes

What We Are Looking For

• Proven business partnering experience within a logistics, supply chain, or operations environment
• Strong financial and commercial acumen
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with tools such as Power BI or JDE
• Strong ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related field
