About the role
We are currently looking for a Groups Programs Coordinator to join our team in our Burleigh Office, who has a passion for working with people with a disability (primarily autism and mental health), youth at risk and disadvantaged demographics; and is a lover of the outdoors.
The role is specifically to support our Programs Calendar. It requires a skill set combination of office based administration and group facilitation in an outdoors setting on the weekends.
This role is based on a standard 38-hour work week, primarily focused on administrative responsibilities.
In addition to these core duties, there are opportunities to earn additional income by facilitating School Holiday Program (SHP) camps and weekend camps throughout the year.
Participation in these programs is not compulsory, but offers a chance for increased earnings and direct engagement with program delivery.
We are seeking applicants who live on the Gold Coast or Northern New South Wales
You will be responsible for the administrative coordination of all assigned activities. This includes:
overseeing the detailed planning and execution process
Managing communication with a diverse range of stakeholders
handling reservations and attendance tracking across multiple activities
Creating and maintaining staff schedules
implementing and documenting risk assessment strategies; and
preparing comprehensive reports after each activity.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
Would suit individuals with an event management background.

Remuneration
Full Time Contract - Salary 76k-80k.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Highly developed organisational, time management, analytical and problem solving skills.
Highly developed communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds.
Ability to manage and meet the demands of multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Integrity at all times to uphold Tribes Code of Conduct
Be reliable and consistent.
Develop and maintain effective, collaborative professional relationships with staff, clients and external stakeholders
Essential
Minimum 2 years experience working with people with disabilities (specifically autism and mental illness), youth at risk or marginalised demographics; and or
Experience facilitating outdoor education highly regarded
Event management experience highly regarded
Strong Administration skills – computer literacy and Google Workspace knowledge base
Thorough understanding of the Risk Assessment and Management processes
Relevant life experience that can be utilised for participant development
Highly Desirable
Relevant degree in Disability, Youth Work, Community Services.
Qualifications in Outdoor Education; or Qualifications in the Wellbeing and Fitness sectors; or experience in frontline emergency services.
The applicant must also have the following currencies or be willing to acquire them:
Current Driver's licence;
Current QLD Paid Blue Card and NSW WWCC;
NDIS Worker Screening;
Current First Aid/CPR certification;
Rights to work in Australia.
