About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join the dynamic culinary team at O'Donnells Palm Cove, a renowned restaurant in the stunning coastal town of Palm Cove, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and execution of high-quality, visually appealing dishes across the menu

Maintaining strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards

Collaborating with the culinary team to enhance existing menu items and develop new, innovative dishes

Ensuring efficient workflow and organisation in your designated section of the kitchen

Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff

Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked kitchen environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality restaurant or hotel kitchen

Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or a related culinary discipline

Demonstrated experience in menu development and a keen eye for food presentation
