About the role
Deer Duck Bistro, a renowned restaurant located in Auchenflower, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our talented culinary team. This full-time role is integral to the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to the restaurant's exacting standards
Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the overall management and coordination of the kitchen
Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Providing training and guidance to junior kitchen staff
Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality restaurant or catering establishment
Proven track record of preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard
Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene
Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating innovative, flavourful dishes
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
