The Chef de Partie is responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen hygiene, and teamwork. The Chef de Partie works closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure consistent high-quality food production and presentation.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standard
Oversee the preparation and service of food in your section
Ensure that food is prepared consistently in line with recipes and presentation standards
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen at all times
Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
Collaborate with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
Assist in the development of new menu items and specials
Maintain stock control and assist with ordering and inventory as needed
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-quality kitchen
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
