Our family-owned pub is searching for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team on a full time basis, and be a part of our busy and popular Bistro team. Reporting to the Head Chef, the ideal candidate will be energetic, hands on, be a great team player & communicator with a passion for food. Excellent organisation skills and time management are a must for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook and ensure a consistently high quality of food for our Bistro customers and function guests
Assisting the Head Chef with ordering, stock and food wastage
Assist the Head Chef with planning and creating menus
Abiding by food safety regulations
The successful applicant will have:
Trade certification and qualifications
3+ years comparable experience in a commercial kitchen / hotel / pub / restaurant
Hold a valid TAFE certificate in Food Safety Supervisor (or equivalent)
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be resident, or hold current work visa
