Role Description

Are you a passionate and creative pastry chef looking to take your career to the next level? Join our dynamic culinary team as a Pastry Chef de Partie, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and create exceptional desserts that delight our guests.

As a Pastry Chef in the Exhibition Kitchen, you will collaborate closely with the Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chefs, and our culinary team to create and execute exceptional desserts and pastries. You will play a key role in all events where we provide culinary support. Reporting to the Supplier Manager (Fossix) and receiving daily guidance from the Head Chef (Salesforce), you’ll help foster a vibrant work atmosphere while ensuring a healthy work/life balance.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Pastry Chef de Partie, you will work closely with our Head Pastry Chef and the culinary team to craft stunning desserts and pastries for our high-profile events and restaurant offerings. You will play a vital role in menu development, production, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and confections.
  • Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef in menu planning and innovation.
  • Ensure all pastry items meet our quality standards for taste and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry station.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry team members.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies, emphasizing local and sustainable ingredients.
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods.
  • Creativity and passion for dessert creation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
