Iconic brand, Australian Retailer require the assistance of an experienced Financial Accountant to join the finance team on a 6 month basis. The role will be to assist with EOFY, Audit and some process improvement and automation projects. You will work alongside a supportive CFO and dynamic CEO in a down to earth working environment.

The Role
Reporting to the CFO, the responsibilities of the role will include,

• Preparation and liaison with Auditors
• End of financial year processing and reconciliations
• Month end processing and financial reporting
• Assisting with ad hoc process improvement projects
• Systems automation and implementation

About You
The successful applicant will have/be,

• CA or CPA qualified with strong understanding of accounting principles
• A well developed attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
• Experienced in process improvement and automation highly advantageous
• Strong ERP systems experience (ability to pick up new systems with ease)
• Flexible with professional and positive, team focused
