We are currently partnering with a national business head officed here in Brisbane to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, month-end processes, and general ledger management. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid technical accounting knowledge, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly financial reports

Ownership of month-end close activities

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Support audit and statutory reporting processes

Ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives

About You

CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards

Minimum 4+ years’ experience in financial accounting

Strong understanding of month-end and year-end processes

Experience working with large ERP systems

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
