Pembroke School is excited to invite applications for a newly established opportunity to join our Development and Philanthropy team in a dedicated support role. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the School’s community-building and fundraising activities while providing direct administrative and executive assistance to the Director of Development and Philanthropy.

Pembroke School is a co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding School from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. Renowned for academic excellence and a broad, inclusive program, Pembroke offers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate World School, offering the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP).

About the Role
As the Development and Philanthropy Support Officer, you will be a central point of coordination, providing high-level administrative support, managing correspondence, maintaining donor records, assisting with event logistics, and helping to prepare key communications and stewardship materials. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities will ensure the smooth operation of the office and contribute to meaningful engagement with the wider Pembroke community.

About You
We’re seeking a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a support-focused role and takes pride in delivering exceptional service behind the scenes. You’ll bring a strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, and an ability to manage multiple tasks while working closely with a senior leader.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in administrative or executive support roles, ideally within a philanthropic, education, or professional services setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence navigating databases or CRM systems.
- A high level of discretion, organisation, and initiative, especially when managing confidential information or shifting priorities.

- Current Working with Children Check (South Australia)
- Current Plink RRHAN-EC training:
- First Aid and CPR
