Behaviour Support Practitioner
2b Inclusive
Posted 1 day ago
While others are saying they’re growing (we know they’re really just filling spots because people are leaving 👀), we’re proud to say we’ve genuinely made space for a new star, because our team is growing and thriving.
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our crew, someone ready to bring their magic to a workplace that actually walks the talk.
We’re seeking someone preferably based in the north, east, or west of Adelaide, as we prioritise staff wellbeing by ensuring our practitioners don’t travel more than 30 minutes to see participants.
Because at 2b Inclusive, we care for our team just as much as we care for the people we support.
Why Consider Joining Us?
Competitive Salaries: We offer competitive salaries to recognise and reward your valuable contributions, not based on the hours you bill.
Admin Time and Service Quality: Currently, we boast the lowest caseload on the market. We offer sustainable and realistic caseloads, yes, we won’t overwhelm you. Our goal is to allow you to provide the best quality of service, ensuring you not only excel in your role but also thoroughly enjoy it!
Strong Support System: Experience a workplace where you are not just a number but an integral part of a supportive community. Our team values each member and actively contributes to creating a positive work environment.
Work-Life Balance: We understand the importance of balance in your life. We strive to provide an environment that fosters harmony between your professional and personal commitments.
Continuous Professional Development: Your growth matters to us. We invest in your development with ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
Team Connection: Foster meaningful connections with your team members. Our collaborative culture ensures that everyone feels engaged and energised by the support they receive.
Specialised Supervision: Receive ongoing support from specialist supervisors who are dedicated to guiding and assisting you in your professional journey.
Selection Criteria – What You’ll Need:
***Please review the criteria below carefully before applying for this role***
NDIS Commission Suitability: you meet the requirements as a Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Capability Framework – at CORE or PROFICIENT level.
Strong Communication Skills: clear, compassionate communication is your superpower. You build rapport with ease and can engage meaningfully with clients, families, support teams, and professionals.
Proven Experience: you bring demonstrated experience working in behaviour support, backed by references that reflect your integrity, commitment, and impact.
Relevant Qualifications: a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Mental Health, or a related field. Membership with a recognised professional body (e.g., AASW, AHPRA, PACFA, BSPA) is required.
Training & Development Skills: you’re confident in preparing, delivering, and evaluating tailored training packages for individuals or support teams.
Innovative & Autonomous Thinker: you work well independently, think creatively, and love solving problems that help people live more meaningful, inclusive lives.
Ethical & Evidence-Based: your practice is underpinned by the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines. You are confident in your understanding of Restrictive Practices and are committed to least-restrictive, person-centred support.
