Alice Springs is the third-largest town in the Northern Territory and is halfway between Darwin and Adelaide, about 1,500 km each away. It is surrounded by stunning natural beauty and is a great place for you to experience the regions natural wonders and culturally significant sites, including Uluru, the Larapinta Trail, the MacDonnell Ranges, Ormiston Gorge, Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and Kings Canyon and the Red Centre Desert. Well-maintained, sealed highways provide the most direct routes between the Northern Territory from cities in South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia.
