Bright Bugs Therapy is on the lookout for an enthusiastic, full-time Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our small, friendly, neuro-affirming private practice in Toowoomba, QLD.

We are passionate about empowering children and families to participate meaningfully and confidently in everyday life. Our approach is evidence-based, neuro-affirming, and strengths-focused, with therapy tailored to create real, functional progress in the areas that matter most to our clients.

This role would be a perfect fit for new graduate occupational therapists who are wanting supportive clinical mentorship and PD opportunities, or experienced clinicians seeking flexibility and autonomy in their work role.

We provide regular 1:1 mentoring and supervision with experienced Occupational Therapists.

PD Planning and external PD opportunities.

Structured onboarding process and gradual build up of your case load

About the Role:

Itinerant/Mobile Role: Support Children and Families across a variety of settings whether this be at home, school, or out in the community.

Work with children aged 0-17 years across a wide range of developmental and neurodevelopmental needs.

A versatile work day supporting three to four people each day.

Deliver fun, creative, high-quality therapy through individual sessions, groups, and family education.

What You Bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy

Fully registered with AHPRA

Current drivers licence, use of own vehicle for business purposes (reimbursed per KM).

Blue card for paid employment (or willingness to obtain).

National Police Check

First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Willingness to travel within Toowoomba and surrounding areas.

Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.

Experience or a genuine interest in providing family centered care to children and their families in community based settings.

Openness to learning and reflective practice.
