My client is a South Brisbane based company that has provided quality Construction, Service and Maintenance to the Commercial, Education & Hospitality sectors of South East Queensland for the past 38 years.
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join the team.
Responsibilities include:
Review and finalise weekly payroll
Managing website and social media content
Provide support to administration assistant
Provide support to Managing Director and Project Managers
Managing meetings
Insurance compliance
Ensuring company policies, procedures and documentation are being reviewed and followed
Running an office
Provide support to the bookkeeper
Other ad hoc tasks
Proposed hours are 32 per week but are negotiable for the right candidate.
Currently this role is being performed with bookkeeping, which will be outsourced. If this is an area of interest the position could become full-time and is open to discussion.
The successful applicant must have the following attributes:
A minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
Experience in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite
Payroll Experience in particular working with very detailed awards
Highly organised whilst maintaining an eye for detail
Ability to work autonomously and take on responsibility
Be able to work as a team
Highly Desirable
Previous experience in the construction industry
