We’re currently seeking a motivated, results-driven sales professional to join a fast-growing, premium supplier in the flooring and building materials industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven sales experience in flooring or related building materials who’s looking to take ownership of a high-impact, autonomous role within a supportive and energetic team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a new business development role focused on growing our presence across the trade and contractor space. You’ll be responsible for identifying, contacting, and building relationships with flooring installers, builders, and developers. The products are easy to stand behind – all you need is the drive to do the work, and the results will follow. Key responsibilities include:

  • Actively prospecting and securing new trade accounts
  • Making cold and warm calls to introduce our products and value proposition
  • Meeting face-to-face with contractors and trades to understand their needs
  • Providing practical product advice and support through the sales process
  • Managing your territory with strong activity and clear focus on outcomes
  • Attending trade events and representing the brand professionally

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a driven, likeable, and self-sufficient salesperson with the confidence to pick up the phone and make things happen. You’ll bring:

  • Experience in flooring or building materials sales (ideally 2–3+ years)
  • A hunter mentality – proactive, energetic, and not afraid of cold calling
  • Discipline and accountability – you’ll be trusted to manage your own schedule
  • A social and relatable personality that fits well in the trade space
  • Any technical knowledge of flooring products or installation is a strong plus
