About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Officer focuses on managing and maintaining the Accounts Receivable (AR) process including but not restricted to maintenance of the customer database and the setting up of new suppliers. The role is responsible for ensuring that statements are issued monthly, and overdue accounts are followed up and investigated in a timely manner. This position serves as the main point of contact for customers regarding invoices, account balances and payment enquiries. Other duties include assisting with bank reconciliations, providing back-up support as and when required, assisting in the development of policy and procedures, and seeking ways of continuous improvement through system enhancements to improve work efficiencies.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
• Qualifications relevant to accounting or bookkeeping
• At least 3 years’ experience in accounts.
• Experience working in a not-for-profit organisation would be preferred.

The successful candidate will:
• Have a Working with Children Check
• Have the right to work in Australia full time
• Undergo a national Police Check before commencement
