Business Development Specialist (focus on US Market Lead Generation)
Lead-gen gun wanted – master LinkedIn, travel to the US, and almost double your base with bonuses.
- OTE $120-140 k AUD - (Base salary of $60–70k + superannuation, with commission of up to $60-70k)

Once we’ve opened a lead, our co-founder closes the sale 80 percent of the time. All we need is more meetings – and that’s where you come in.
Why this role is different
LinkedIn first – your day revolves around social selling and intent tools like Apollo, backed by a specialist PR agency that feeds you sharp content and strategy
Zero closing pressure – your job is to warm up and book qualified meetings. The co-founder closes the deal.
US focus without relocation – start early in Australia (around 4–5 am AEST), wrap up by mid-afternoon, and fly to a handful of high-value US CX events each year
Rapid runway – hit targets and step into an enterprise AE seat sooner than any corporate ladder could promise
What you will do
Identify and map contact-centre decision makers, then spark genuine conversations on LinkedIn, email and phone
Warm target accounts before US events, secure one-on-one sessions and keep them engaged afterwards
Distribute thought leadership with guidance from our PR partners and iterate messaging fast
Track activity and intent in Apollo, sharing clear pipeline updates with the team
Swap learnings daily with your US BD counterpart and our data-driven Customer Success Analyst
What you will bring
1–2 years in inside sales, SDR, BDR or junior BDM work – ideally booking meetings for a SaaS or tech product via LinkedIn
Strong writing skills and the confidence to pick up the phone, especially during early-morning call blocks
Curiosity about AI, CX and process mining – you do not need to be a domain expert, just eager to learn
Passport ready – comfortable with 10–20 percent travel to the United States (FUN!)
Salary and benefits
OTE: $120–150k AUD
Breakdown: Base $60–70k + super + commissions equal to your base of up to $60–70k
Hybrid working: typically three days a week in our Richmond HQ – we’ll find a rhythm that works
