In your day to day, you will:

1. Source information and complete research on target prospects before outreach.

2. Contact target prospects, discover and uncover their business needs.

3. Manage and maintain accurate data in the Customer Relationship Management system.

4. Provide general organizational and administrative support for sales initiatives and your team, if and when required.

About the role

As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key supporting role within the business development team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in sales, marketing, or business growth. You’ll assist with research, administrative tasks, and coordination efforts that contribute to the team’s success in acquiring new clients and growing the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead generation and prospecting: research and identify potential clients, contacting the prospects and qualifying the leads

Collaboration with Internal Teams: collaborate with the client services team plus other departments to align business and client developments and efforts

Research and Prospecting Support: Assist in identifying potential clients by conducting desktop research, compiling contact lists, and helping to prepare outreach materials.

Administrative Support: Help maintain CRM systems, update databases, track leads, and assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and proposals.

Meeting and Event Coordination: Help organise internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and assist in planning team participation at industry events or conferences.

Client Support: Support ongoing communication with clients by preparing follow-up materials and assisting in responding to enquiries under the guidance of the business development team.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with business development and client services teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of tasks and priorities.
