MPI have partnered with an ASX-listed junior explorer focused on Greenfields discovery. With a strong technical team, supportive board, and a portfolio of underexplored tenements across Australia, they are building momentum towards their next significant discovery.

MPI are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Geologist to join the team. As a key member of this exploration division, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing their exploration projects and contributing to the growth of the company.

The role:

Plan and execute Greenfields exploration programs

Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and drill planning across priority tenements

Supervise field programs, contractors, and drill rigs to ensure safe, efficient operations

Compile, interpret, and report geological data to drive targeting and future exploration strategy

Liaise with the Exploration Manager to prioritise targets and refine models

Promote a strong safety culture and environmental stewardship in all field activities.

The requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Geology or Earth Sciences

5+ years exploration experience, ideally with exposure to VMS or porphyry copper systems

Strong field geology, mapping, and sampling skills

Confident supervising field teams and contractors in remote settings

Proficiency with geological software (e.g. Micromine, Leapfrog, MapInfo, QGIS)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Enthusiasm for Greenfields exploration and contributing to discovery.
