A leading Tier 2 builder is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Structures) to join the team on a high-profile $50M commercial construction project in the Perth metro area.

This is a key role within a high-performing delivery team, with a strong pipeline of future projects locally.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of structural engineering and coordination across all in-ground, concrete, steel and structural elements on a complex commercial build. You’ll act as the technical interface between design, site delivery and commercial functions—ensuring quality, safety and program milestones are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all structural elements through design, procurement, construction and QA
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams on all structural aspects
• Review drawings, scope, specifications and documentation for constructability
• Ensure works are carried out in line with safety and quality standards
• Support programming, forecasting and planning of works across the structure phase
• Identify and mitigate project risks early, with a solutions-focused mindset

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a Project/Senior Project Engineer role
• Experience delivering commercial building projects $20M+, ideally in WA
• Strong understanding of in-situ concrete, formwork systems, and structural steel
• Excellent stakeholder and subcontractor coordination skills
• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving capability
