Odyssey Gold (ASX:ODY) is an established gold exploration company with a successful track record of discovery in one of Australia’s premier gold mining districts. The Company owns gold resources and extensive prospective land holdings in Murchison region of Western Australia. The Company aims to grow the existing 407,000oz gold resource by defining extensions to known resources and identifying new mineralisation under laterite and alluvial cover. A recently completed VTEM survey has defined numerous anomalies and high priority targets.

Odyssey Gold is currently seeking an Exploration Manager to lead our exploration team. This role is Perth based with work split between the Perth office and the Tuckanarra Project.

The Exploration Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Company’s exploration strategy including:

Contribute to the development of the Company’s exploration strategy, work programs and budget.

Act as a leader onsite and promote safe working practices.

Understand the control of mineralisation at Tuckanarra and Stakewell.

Collecting high quality exploration data, validating databases and undertaking geological interpretations.

Principally, supervision of drilling and other exploration programs including logging, data entry, assessment of results and all aspects of quality control

Compilation and assessment of geological information

Interpretation of logging and drilling results

Guide & mentor geologists and field assistants.

Provide technical input into mining studies.

Managing statutory permitting and reporting.

Maintain the company’s exploration portfolio ranking system.

Communicating with pastoralists, landholders and other key stakeholders.

Assistance with environmental and heritage surveys, rehabilitation programs as required.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain eligibility as WA statutory position of Exploration Manager. You must have the current right to live and work in Australia and a valid manual driver's licence to apply for this role.
