The Position
This company has a rare opportunity to joint their ranks in a Human Resources Manager role working in the Head Office in Yennora, Sydney.
This role, reporting to the Group CEO, will be forming and heading up a Human Resources division of the company and also managing the design and implementation of HR policies. On an average day you will be:
- Ensuring that Human Capital is managed consistently with the business strategy.
- Contribute to the implementation of organizational plans.
- Design and implement key HR processes.
- Drive recruitment initiatives.
- Assist with interviews and provide feedback to line manager and country manager.
- Creation of letter of offer / contract of employment and associated documents.
- Initial onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Focus on attraction and retention of employees.
- Analyse employees' engagement drivers and launch specific programs addressed to reinforce employees' participation and involvement.
- Ensure the legal compliance of all labour contractual aspects with regards to multi state and federal laws of employment.
- Assist manager with performance management and reviews of.
- Assist and guide in the legal compliance issues.
- Assist and support admin duties.
The Package
Alongside full product and job training given by both my client and their customer covering both the logistics and operational parts of the role, the package on offer for the successful candidate is up to $120,000 per year, plus superannuation.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role it is essential that the candidate has experience in importing and exporting regulations as well as booking interstate freight, good verbal and written communication is also required. Other attributes that would be highly desired by my client are:
- 8+ years of experience in the Human Resources field and 2+ years with leadership responsibilities
- Experience in Waste Management or Liquid and Technical Services would be looked upon favorably
- Consistent long term role history
- Degree in Human Resources or related field preferable
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes and local labour law (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA)
- Change Management skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Leadership and influencing skills
- Active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
