About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function. This is a highly autonomous role where you will develop and implement HR strategies and processes that support our people and business operations. Your focus will include compliance with awards and employment legislation, and full lifecycle HR responsibilities – from recruitment to onboarding, training, development and offboarding. This role is highly operational.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end employee lifecycle management and development
Oversee HR operations ensuring compliance with Fair Work and applicable Awards with the support of Clubs NSW
Build and support a culture of leadership, engagement, and team development
Workforce planning and monthly rostering in a dynamic, hospitality-driven environment
Act as a trusted partner to managers on ER issues, providing guidance and coaching
Provide training and support to managers on HR policies, procedures and best practices
Given our 24-hour operational environment, occasional night and weekend availability will be required
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a hands on forward-thinking, results-driven HR professional with hospitality sector experience.
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications in Human Resources Management and/or equivalent experience
3–5+ years in a senior HR position, experience in the hospitality industry desirable
Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law, Awards, and Fair Work compliance
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
Practical, solution-focused mindset with excellent organisational skills
Experience with HR systems, preferably Time Target
A collaborative, adaptable, and positive approach
Passion for fostering a supportive and people-focused workplace culture
