About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and performance-driven Human Resource Manager to oversee the HR needs across our network of beauty retail stores. This role is instrumental in supporting our Store Managers, ensuring stores are well-staffed, performance-focused, and aligned with our company culture and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Support & Liaison:
Act as the primary HR liaison for Store Managers across all locations.
Provide day-to-day HR support, guidance, and assistance with people management issues.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure teams are well-supported, store morale is high, and any HR concerns are addressed promptly.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage recruitment for our beauty salons. Screening first Canidates and organize trails with managers.
Oversee new hire onboarding to ensure smooth integration into the business. Working with Admin and Managers.
Implanting better strategies for the company to grow
Workforce Planning & Rostering:
Ensure all stores are appropriately staffed to meet operational needs.
Oversee store rostering and provide guidance to Managers to optimise labor efficiency and coverage.
Approving leave across all stores and responding to staff request.
Develop new policies across stores and the head office
Cover all OH&S Policies and requirements
Performance & KPI Management:
Set, monitor, and evaluate staff and store KPIs in collaboration with the leadership team.
Conduct performance reviews, staff one-on-ones, and support Managers with coaching and performance improvement plans.
Track store performance and work closely with leadership to meet sales and service targets.
Staff Engagement & Retention:
Implement and manage staff bonus structures and incentive programs.
Recognise and reward high-performing team members, creating a culture of appreciation and growth.
Lead staff meetings and workshops to promote engagement and development.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Proven leadership experience in HR Shared Services or a similar function
Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on customer-first solutions
Proven experience in HR or operations management, preferably within retail or multi-site environments.
Strong understanding of performance metrics, rostering systems, and retail workforce needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse team.
Ability to travel regularly to store locations as required.
Experience in coaching and supporting Store Managers to achieve business and team goals.
Highly organised with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
