About the Role:
As an Accountant – Funds Management, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of AHFund. This is not just a traditional accounting role – we are looking for someone who can bring a commercial mindset and contribute to the growth and optimisation of our fund structures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing communications with investors and external finance parties — providing clear, accurate updates and playing an active role in progressing transactions to completion through effective coordination and follow-up
• Assisting with the financial management of investment funds, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Preparing financial statements, management reports, and investor updates.
• Ensuring compliance with AFSL, ASIC, and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for investment funds.
• Working closely with the senior leadership team to develop financial strategies.
• Assisting in fund performance analysis, capital raising, and investor relations.
• Liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Clear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a practical mindset and strong problem-solving ability in financial and transactional contexts.
• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA preferred or working towards).
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial services, or funds management.
• Strong understanding of investment structures, trusts, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of AFSL and compliance regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar).
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a commercial, problem-solving mindset.
