About the Client Our client is a growing funds management business that is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Compliance Officer to join their team.

About the Role As a Senior Compliance Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and managing our client’s compliance framework. Collaborating with leadership, you’ll promote a culture of accountability and effective risk management aligned with strategic goals. This position offers a strong opportunity to grow your expertise and advance your career in funds management.

This role will suit someone ideally coming from a fund transfer agency/ custodian environment, funds management or someone who has worked in other highly regulated financial services organisation.

Key Responsibilities • Monitor compliance with internal policies requirements; • Provide regulatory advice and support to internal stakeholders on a broad range of compliance matters; • Review and approve marketing, advertising, and disclosure materials for regulatory compliance; • Maintain and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to reflect regulatory changes; • Prepare and submit accurate and timely filings and reports to ASIC and other authorities; • Investigate compliance breaches and complaints, recommend corrective actions, and oversee implementation; • Deliver compliance training and lead team development to ensure consistent practices across the organisation; AND • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare reports for the Board, Committees, and senior management.

Key Qualifications • 3+ years experience in a funds management or financial services compliance role; • Highly developed understanding of the Australian and international funds management industry and investment market; • Strong understanding of compliance and risk structures in a funds management environment; • Exceptional written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills; AND • Highly organised, collaborative team player with excellent attention to detail.
