Brisbane Sustainability Agency is looking for a number of casual Events and Community Engagement Assistants to support a diverse portfolio of high-profile city-wide events, community consultation and engagement initiatives.

About the Role

In this role, you will work directly with the Events and Community Engagement Team to assist with delivery of a number of events and community engagement programs. The role will be focused on connecting, educating and informing the local community through various initiatives, programs, or events.

The skills and experience to support on ground delivery of an engaging events program that promotes awareness and action within the Brisbane community.

Extensive experience in a customer facing events role and/or customer service.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings to support community events (up to 15hrs/week).

Ability to work effectively as part of a team to ensure the successful delivery of events and engagement activities.

Positive and helpful attitude with strong verbal communication skills.

A genuine passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change within the community.

A current Queensland C class driver's license with the ability to travel within Brisbane LGA
