Location: Brisbane, QLD - QUT Campuses - Kelvin Grove & Gardens Point
Job Type: Part Time | Flexible hours | On-campus | Up to 15 Hours per week

Join the QUT Guild as an Events Officer and help bring our events and engagement initiatives to life! This hands-on role supports the planning and delivery of exciting campus events, from social activities to wellbeing activations, and is perfect for a current student looking to gain practical experience in events and student engagement.
About the Role:
As an Events Officer, you'll assist with event setup and pack down, engage with students at stalls and activations, and help coordinate entertainment, games, and giveaways. You'll also support the team with admin tasks, basic data collection, and feedback collection. Expect a fun, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same!
What We’re Looking For:
A student who is outgoing, organised, and ready to get involved
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Physically capable of handling event materials and being on your feet during shifts
Flexible availability, with some early mornings, evenings, and outdoor work required
Experience in events is a bonus, but not essential
