Join a values-driven organisation making a real impact in the lives of people living with or at risk of diabetes.
At Diabetes Australia, everything we do is centred around improving the lives of millions of Australians impacted by diabetes. We are a trusted national voice, committed to advocacy, education, and the delivery of high-impact programs. We’re looking for a skilled Corporate Affairs & Media Specialist who shares our commitment to purpose-driven work.

· Support major campaigns, policy initiatives and strategic programs from a communications lens
About you
You are a strategic communicator with a strong understanding of the media landscape and a deep appreciation for the role of advocacy in creating change. You’re calm under pressure, comfortable working with complex information, and skilled at tailoring your message to suit a wide range of audiences.
Your background may be in media, journalism, government, public affairs or communications—and you’re now looking for a role that brings purpose and impact to your professional life.
You’ll bring:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience in media relations and issues management
· Ability to develop and deliver strategic media and communications plans
· Strong relationship-building skills, particularly across media, government and health sectors
· A collaborative, proactive and values-driven approach
