• Competitive Salary from $110,266 to $122,058 plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

As a key member of the Social Media team, you will be responsible for shaping the department's digital presence, curating the social media channels and providing social media support to NSW government schools.

In this role you will also:

• Support the delivery and coordination of marketing campaigns
• Manage social media calendar and develop social content and campaign strategies
• Partner with internal teams to create high-quality and engaging multimedia content.

About you

We're seeking an individual with proven experience in content creation with an excellent understanding of Social Media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X. You will also demonstrate:

• Strong capability to support internal stakeholders across the corporate office and more than 2,200 public schools statewide.
• Ability to deliver high-quality output in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to develop communication and marketing content.
• Knowledge and experience in Project Management settings with proficient written communication skills.

Key Knowledge and experience

• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

• A valid clearance to Work with Children. (Working with Children Check) for paid work.
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
