Location: Granville and Cumberland Hospital, North Parramatta

What you'll be doing
This Level 3 Social Work role within the Granville Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team delivers complex, recovery-focused mental health care across hospital and community settings. The position also provides leadership, supervision, and service development. Other responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-level social work interventions across Granville ACT and Cumberland
- Leading and supervise social workers and students in clinical practice
- Providing consultative support on complex consumer and family matters
- Collaborating with services and agencies to ensure continuity of care
- Driving service improvement through quality activities and staff development

Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: Degree in Social Work
- Registration: Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Selection Criteria:
- Clinical experience in a mental health setting or significant experience as a social worker with an ability to demonstrate transfer of skills.
- Experience in or evidence of further study or a commitment to study in clinical/student supervision, team leadership and/or management.
- Experience in staff and/or student supervision.
- Demonstrated well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and consultation skills with other staff.
- Ability to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team with minimal direct supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with government agencies such as Housing, Centrelink, FACS, etc. and non-government agencies, such as, NGOs, GPs and other community organisations.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 acceptable) and willing to use it for work purpose.
