Come Work With Us!

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with a background in mental health who enjoys working with young people? This position requires you to work autonomously and as part of a caring and compassionate multidisciplinary team who provides mental health assessment, planning, evidence based treatment and evaluation to prevent or minimise the physical, psychological and social consequences of emerging mental disorder in young people.

CASPAR (Comprehensive Assessment Service for Psychosis and At Risk) is a specialist youth mental health service providing in-reach into headspace sites across SESLHD. CASPAR provides comprehensive assessment, treatment and other support services for adolescents, young people and their families who present with complex mental health disorders and possible UHR (ultra high risk for psychosis). We have a multidisciplinary team approach to care, aimed to prevent, identify, treat and reduce the impact of these difficulties on adolescents, young people and their families. We provide short to medium term care. Interventions may be individual, family or group within a recovery based model.

For more information we encourage you to contact Gemma Van Heyst on [email protected]
