Australian Meat Company is a leading Melbourne based company. We pride ourselves with expertise in all categories of Beef, Lamb, Pork, Chicken, Deli, Game and Sausages. We are a licensed facility of Meat Standards Australia (MSA), ensuring that all beef and sheep meat products are quality graded cuts, meeting MSA’s standards for tenderness, juiciness and flavour.
We also have a large fleet of refrigerated delivery vehicles, all licensed by the Victorian Authority Primesafe.
With the expansion of the company’s business and the growth of its scale, we’re now looking for a highly capable Office Manager to join our team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the company.
Position Description
The Office Manager will oversee the daily administrative activities within the company, ensuring seamless coordination and support for the operations and logistics teams. Your role will be key in maintaining effective administrative processes that contribute to the punctual, compliant, and efficient execution of company operations.
Position Details
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, participate in the planning and evaluation of office services, and establish priorities.
- Manage, track, and report office budgets, work expenses, and payroll, and maintain accurate financial documents.
- Coordinate the schedule and allocate corresponding human resources, including developing emergency plans and managing attendance records.
- Handle office support work, such as handling maintenance requests, organizing company events, meetings and conferences, and ensuring workplace health and safety.
- Allocate office space, equipment, and supplies to support daily operations,
effectively manage the procurement and inventory of office supplies.
- Assign tasks, monitor employee performance, and conduct regular evaluations to maintain high service standards.
- Organize recruitment, onboarding, training, and promotion processes to cultivate a proactive and driven team.
- Promote, support, and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive corporate culture.
Positions Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience as Office Manager
- Diploma or higher qualification in Business or related field
- Strong leadership and excellent team management skills to lead the team to efficiently complete tasks
- Proficient in multitasking to ensure orderly implementation of work
- Outstanding communication skills, proficient in both written and oral expression
- Proficient in using office software and digital skills
