Our client is a privately-owned civil and resources contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex projects across the infrastructure sector, in both construction and resources. Their brand is well-regarded for its reliability, precision, and ability to operate safely in high-risk environments. With a solid client base and operational capability already in place, they are now seeking a senior figure to take ownership of national client development—and help write the next chapter of their growth.
This role will suit someone who knows how to build client relationships that last, not chase work for the sake of it. Reporting to the executive leadership team, this is a pivotal role focused on engaging Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients, shaping national strategy, and identifying major project opportunities. It’s not about cold selling—it’s about positioning, trust, and influence.
You will need to understand how the delivery engine works, but you won’t be running projects. Your job is to ensure the right conversations are happening, the brand is well positioned, and the client base continues to evolve in line with the company’s ambition. You’ll work closely with the operations and estimating teams, playing a hands-on role in major tenders, capability statements, and new market growth.
We are open to you being based in QLD, NSW or WA—but with national scope and flexibility. Regular travel will be part of the role but you get to manage that. This opportunity will suit someone with a background in civil, remediation, or resources contracting—someone who’s respected in the industry and ready to bring commercial maturity and relationship credibility to a strong and growing business.
