Are you a civil gun with hands-on site experience who’s ready to step up into a leadership role? One of our long-standing residential development clients is looking for a Civil Construction Manager to oversee multiple active sites across South East QLD.

This is not a desk job — it’s a hands-on-the-ground leadership role suited to someone who has come up through the ranks (Foreman/Supervisor background ideal) and can coordinate all aspects of civil works, including earthworks, roads, sewer, drainage, and slabs for townhouse developments.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end delivery of civil infrastructure works across multiple residential development sites.

Lead site-based teams including operators, labourers, and subcontractors to ensure timelines, budget, and quality targets are met.

Coordinate scheduling, site setup, materials procurement, and contractor onboarding.

Oversee plant and equipment operations for safety, compliance, and productivity.

Maintain construction programs, budgets, and cost tracking.

Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for seamless project execution.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, SWMS, and environmental regulations.

Submit and maintain all QA records, ITPs, and handover documentation.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years’ managerial experience in a similar role within civil residential construction (site cuts, driveways, retaining walls, foundations, roads, concrete, sewer etc).

Previous hands-on experience as a Foreman or Supervisor preferred.

Experience running multiple concurrent medium - small civil projects.

Strong knowledge of civil works including earthworks, pavements, sewer, stormwater, and water reticulation.

Capable of juggling site coordination, cost control, subcontractor management, and documentation — all while maintaining a calm, solutions-focused mindset.
