About the role

FGI Developments is seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to join our team in Cairns North, Queensland. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and supervise the work of construction crews, including monitoring progress, allocating tasks, and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution

Oversee the delivery of materials and equipment to the site, and ensure proper storage and utilization

Identify and address any potential problems or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental policies

Provide on-site training and mentorship to construction workers as required

Maintain detailed records and documentation related to project progress, time sheets, and safety incidents

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role

Demonstrated expertise in coordinating and overseeing construction activities, including managing crews, equipment, and materials

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders

Working knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

There will be remote works, Must be able to take your team were required

Must be able to use UTS and GPS were required
