Our client is an Australian owned and operated online lender specializing in providing Medium amount loans between $2K and $5K and they are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst with DLA on consumer lending products.

Key responsibilities:
Assess financial circumstances of applicants in line with the New Money Lender's credit policy

Approve the loan application within Delegation Authority

Ensure sufficient KYC documentation and ID verification is provided by the applicants

Assess / protect each application against possible fraud

Enquire and liaise with customers / 3rd parties to verify details as needed

Assess all applications accurately and fairly ensuring the product suits the applicants' needs

Essential Criteria:
• Good understanding of Australian Regulated Credit
• Certificate IV in Credit Management
• Must have recently held a DLA
• Excellent communication skills
• Internal & external stakeholder management
• Proactive, self-starter, and disciplined
• Planning, organising, and time-management skills
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills with good judgement and within authority
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrates success at managing high-volume workloads and deadlines
• A desire to learn and take on feedback
• Must be an Australian permanent resident and available to work in the office on a permanent full-time basis
