About the Role:

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, consistent meals by managing your designated kitchen section with precision and efficiency. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and organised workstation, and supporting junior kitchen staff. Working within a collaborative and professional team, you’ll contribute to the creation of innovative and seasonal menus while ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced, high-standard environment at Happy Soul Bistro within Tamworth Golf Club.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and customer preferences

Ensure food is presented beautifully and consistently

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience

Monitor and order inventory, ensuring efficient use of ingredients

Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role

Strong culinary skills with an eye for detail and presentation

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Passion for food and creativity in the kitchen

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

CERT IV equivalent in commercial cookery

Salary

$75-$85K + superannuation including weekends
