Job Title: Production Manager

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Top Gun Blasting, Pakenham

Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 (depending on experience)

Job Description:

Top Gun Blasting is seeking a highly motivated production manager to join our team. As a production manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily production processes, ensuring that all jobs are completed on time and that quality standards are met. You will also be responsible for liaising with customers, managing inventory, coordinating transport, maintaining accurate records in our spreadsheet. Additionally, you will be expected to manage and communicate with the factory foremen on a daily basis to ensure production is running smoothly. Nace Level 1 inspection qualifications would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the production process from start to finish, ensuring timely completion of all jobs

Coordinate with customers to schedule jobs and ensure their satisfaction

Maintain accurate records of all production activities, including inventory levels

Order necessary supplies and materials for production

Organise transport as required

Communicate with factory foremen daily to ensure production is running smoothly

Ensure surface profiles are compliant with all approved ITPs / QA’s.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a production manager or similar role

Nace Level 1 qualifications and advantage but not essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Familiarity with structural steel industry preferred

Valid driver's license
