About the role

As the Factory Manager at Ozcare Organics Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Cranbourne West, Victoria. This is a full-time role and a crucial position within our growing organisation as we continue to expand our production capabilities to meet increasing demand for our certified organic products.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate all production activities to ensure efficient, safe and high-quality manufacturing processes

Lead, motivate and develop a team of skilled production staff, including supervisors and machine operators

Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain rigorous standards and minimise waste

Optimise workflow and production schedules to meet sales targets and customer delivery timelines

Identify and action opportunities to improve productivity, sustainability and cost-effectiveness

Ensure the factory operates in full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Serve as a key liaison between production, sales, procurement and other business functions

What we're looking for

Proven track record as a manufacturing or production manager, preferably within the food or beverage industry

Excellent people management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise processes and address operational challenges

Solid understanding of manufacturing principles, quality control methods and lean production practices

Proficient in using data and metrics to drive continuous improvement

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, operations management) or equivalent experience

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
