About the role

Elan Construct, a leading joinery company, is seeking an experienced Joinery Foreman to oversee the high-quality production and delivery of custom joinery for our projects in NSW. As a Joinery Foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery , utilising your expertise in joinery & cabinet making. This is a fulltime position based on-site in Wetherill Park.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the joinery team, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met

Oversee the production of custom cabinetry, furniture, and other joinery items to exacting standards

Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into high-quality joinery solutions

Develop and implement efficient production processes and quality control measures

Ensure the workshop is maintained to the highest safety and cleanliness standards

Provide technical guidance and training to the joinery team, supporting their professional development

Collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless integration of the joinery work into the overall construction schedule

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Joinery Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the cabinet making industry

Demonstrated expertise in the design, production, and installation of high-quality custom joinery

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance

Formal qualifications in carpentry, cabinet making, or a related trade are highly desirable
