You will be required to Provide practical day-to-day support and assistance for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people/families and community with navigating the health and community support systems involved in and around the cancer journey. This will involve stakeholder mapping, establishing referral pathways to support services and liaison with medical and non- medical staff.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
· Certificate 3 qualifications as a Health Worker.
· Ability to drive manual 4WD vehicles and a valid Australian driver’s license.
· A recent and valid national police check, Working with Vulnerable person-related check and Working with Children check.
This position will involve working out of regular working hours.
